"Timber"
Fine Art Print | Strength, Confidence, Courage
Timber is a Longhorn bull who was rescued by Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch in Glen Rose, Texas. When his previous home needed to downsize, they wanted to make sure Timber would have a safe and loving place to call home.
Today, Timber has taken on a pretty important role at the ranch. He leads a herd of six cows and shares his home with more than 40 other rescued animals.
“Timber is a joy to observe. He lives a very pensive but confident lifestyle. He’s the boss of our herd, but he doesn’t abuse his authority. He’s a wonderful leader and a lovely Longhorn.”
— Mariah, Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch
Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch rescues farm animals from difficult circumstances and works to rehabilitate them back to health, including animals rescued from Texas livestock auctions.
10% of proceeds from every Timber print sold will be donated to Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch to help support their mission and the animals in their care.
When you look at Timber, I hope you’re reminded that strength doesn’t have to be loud. You can be strong, confident, and courageous while still being gentle - just like Timber.
ABOUT THE PRINT
Timber is an open-edition fine art reproduction of my original hand-drawn portrait of the real Timber, a rescued Longhorn living at Sweet Mercies Rescue Ranch in Glen Rose, Texas.
The original was created using Prismacolor pencils on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Series 300 paper and intentionally features a built-in white border that works beautifully in both matted and unmatted frames.
