Original hand drawn portrait was created with Prismacolor Graphite pencils on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Series 300 paper, left with a built in border that works great in matted or unmatted frames. Nudge is an open edition print featuring two pale horses with one giving a delicate nudge to the other.
All prints are giclee printed with archival inks on fine art paper. Each print is signed by the artist.

SUPPORT BELONGING PEACE
When I first started working on this piece back in 2023 I was drawn to the feeling of the horses pose. To me there was an overwhelming feeling of safety and belonging that spoke through them.
As my life shifted over the last few years I put this piece to the side, but picked it back up after a very abrupt change in my life occurred. It was through working on this piece that I started finding my support, belonging, and peace again. It was during a season of deep depression that I completed "Nudge" and to have come out of that difficult season with not just a finished piece of art, but also the uplifting and encouraging feeling of all the support and love that was shown to me during that time leaves me speechless.
This piece really does speak to the importance of being in safe relationships that continually make you feel supported, even when you don't believe in yourself or need extra help along the way.
I truly hope "Nudge" speaks to you in whatever way it can, but mostly that you remember how important you are and that getting some help or a friendly nudge to keep going will mean a lot along the way.
And for those that were the nudge for me, I can't thank you enough.
